Job Description

  • Manage accounts: Handle full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy in journal entries, ledger maintenance, and month-end closing.
  • Prepare financial reports: Develop monthly management accounts and financial reports, providing insights for decision-making.
  • Oversee receivables and payables: Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing, payment processing, and customer/supplier reconciliations.
  • Compliance and record-keeping: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and statutory requirements, maintaining proper documentation and filing.
  • SST and e-Invoicing: Prepare and submit SST returns and manage e-Invoicing, staying updated with regulatory changes.
  • Cash flow monitoring: Monitor cash flow, maintain cash book records, and liaise with auditors and tax agents as needed.
  • System proficiency: Utilize AutoCount accounting system and Microsoft Office suite for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with management and external parties, contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment.Job requirements:
    • Educational background: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, LCCI, ACCA, ICAEW or other related certifications, providing a solid foundation in accounting principles.
    • Professional experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the solar industry, showcasing your expertise in practical accounting tasks.
    • Technical skills: Hands-on experience with AutoCount accounting system and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ensuring efficient data management and analysis.
    • Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with SST submission and e-Invoicing requirements, demonstrating your commitment to staying updated with regulatory changes.
    • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with auditors, tax agents, and external parties.
