ADU Project Drafter/Designer

I’m looking to hire a drafter/designer for an ADU project on my property. My primary goal is to maximize the development potential of the property while complying with all applicable city and zoning requirements. Scope of work would include Zoning & Planning Research Review local ADU regulations, zoning code, setbacks, height limits, FAR, parking requirements, and any overlay restrictions Identify all feasible development options (e.g., detached ADU, attached ADU, garage conversion, second story additions, multiple units if allowed) Flag any constraints or opportunities that would impact design Feasibility Input Provide recommendations on the best configuration(s) to maximize square footage, usability, and long-term value Advise on trade-offs (cost vs. buildable area vs. approval risk) Concept Design Prepare conceptual layouts for preferred option(s) Iterate based on feedback Construction Drawings Prepare plans suitable for permitting submission I’m specifically looking for someone who can think beyond drafting and help guide the project strategically, not just produce drawings.
