And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!<br><br><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>As IFS Cloud Architect with Rockwell Automation, you will have expertise in AI solutions to lead the design, integration, and evolution of enterprise solutions across asset‑intensive and service‑driven operations. You will define end‑to‑end architecture, promote AI‑driven outcomes, and ensure scalable, secure, and future‑ready IFS implementations. You'll report to the ERP Manager and work with the IFS Product Owner, Project Implementation Team, and important business stakeholders. You'll partner with other teams to analyze requirements, create technical solutions, support daily operations, and improve across the ERP platform. This is remote based role with location either in the US or Ontario, Canada.<br><br><strong>Primary Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>IFS Solution Architecture<br><br></strong><ul><li>You will lead the end‑to‑end application architecture for IFS Cloud across Projects, FSM, Resource Management, Manufacturing and Finance.</li><li>Define and govern IFS Cloud reference architectures, design patterns, and guardrails, aligned with Evergreen and SaaS operating principles.</li><li>Promote a configuration‑first mindset, minimizing customization and ensuring long‑term maintainability.</li><li>Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable IFS Cloud solutions.</li><li>Define environment strategies across DEV, TEST, and PROD, supporting secure delivery and operational stability.</li><li>Design extension strategies using standard IFS capabilities (APIs, Business Events, projections, external services).</li><li>Ensure non‑functional requirements, performance, availability, security, and resilience are built into solution designs.<br><br></li></ul><strong>AI Capabilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>You will architect and enable AI use cases, including embedded IFS AI offerings:</li><ul><li>Service planning and scheduling optimization</li><li>Demand forecasting and anomaly detection</li></ul><li>Design AI‑augmented business processes, promoting AI insights directly into operational workflows</li><li>Ensure people trust AI recommendations through human-in-the-loop decisioning.</li><li>Define feedback loops to monitor outcomes and improve AI‑enabled capabilities.<br></li></ul><strong>Integration Architecture<br><br></strong><ul><li>You'll architect end-to-end integration solutions between IFS Cloud and upstream CRM platforms, such as lead-to-order, service demand, and contract lifecycle.
