AM M-LOUNGE ATTENDENT

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To ensure a hospitable and professional atmosphere in the M-lounge area. Serve all guests providing the highest level of service in an efficient and courteous manner while following Marriott standards, procedures and policies at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS/PRE-REQUISITES:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have a valid Food Handler’s card/PM Shift Tams Card
  • PM Shift adheres to all alcohol beverage rules and regulations. (signs and agrees to Beverage Agreement form)
  • Be knowledgeable about the hotel and its services
  • Be knowledgeable about the local area, local events, attractions, sightseeing and cultural events
  • Ability to arrange all types of requests for all of our guests such as car rental, airline and train tickets, office services, beauty and barber services, etc. Arrange presents, repairs and shopping, if requested
  • Be knowledgeable in all guest relations functions and M- lounge attendant functions
  • Have thorough knowledge of Standard Operation Procedures

PRIMARY DAILY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Handle all guest’s requests and fulfill them as quickly as possible
  • Ensure compliance with accident prevention guidelines
  • Ensure that log books, handovers, and checklists are well maintained
  • Recognize all repeat guests and VIP members as well as their special needs and requests
  • Be knowledgeable about Marriott Rewards and Frequent Flyer programs
  • Carry out all reasonable requests by management which the associate is capable of doing
  • Represent Marriott in the most professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Be able to stay on feet for up to 8 hours
  • Lift and/or move 10 pounds 50% of the time
  • Lift and/or move 50 pounds 5% of the time
