Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007 (Principal place of business – telecommuting permitted)

Duties: Define, implement, and maintain Moody’s cloud implementations. Automate platform builds and prepare runbooks for operations. Assist in the establishment of Cloud technology roadmaps, engineering standards, and operating standards.

Responsible for providing solutions on the approved container platform. Assist in developing API management strategies, such as service mesh and API gateway. Provide guidance on automation to other team members.

Advocate for secure computing practices and procedures. Assist in developing and reviewing documentation, which is relevant to Cloud implementers and users. Advocate for advanced analytics, monitoring, alerting to streamline efficiencies.

Work with more senior team members to continuously improve our software engineering practices.

Telecommuting

Permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.).

Requirements: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related or a closely related technical field plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Consultant or related technical position performing software development and designing technical solutions.

Must have experience with the following: formulating and analyzing software requirements using Agile and Waterfall methodologies; working with Object Oriented Programming, algorithms, design patterns, data structures, multi-threaded programming, unit testing, and SDLC; working with Salesforce, Java-script, HTML, Apex, Visual Force, API, Force.com, Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC)

• Apttus CLM

• Apttus Order Management; design and development of Integrations with third party applications; data migration strategy and development

• CI/CD pipeline development and management; coordinating program development of computer software applications, systems, services from design through product release; managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools, or policies; preparing technical requirements and software design specifications; and implementing and launching using best engineering practices, such as detailed technical documentation, incorporating unit and integration testing, and enabling logging, monitoring, and alarms to ensure service follows SaaS standards.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $160,805 to $203,350/yr, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
