Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney - Criminal

Penner Lowe Law Group, LLC, a  downtown Wichita general practice law firm, is seeking an energetic, driven, and independent Associate Attorney with a strong interest in criminal defense and litigation.

We are looking for a litigator first and foremost — someone who is confident in the courtroom, eager to advocate for clients, and motivated to take ownership of their cases. At the same time, we pride ourselves on being a problem-solving law firm that provides practical guidance, personal attention, and strong client communication across a diverse range of legal matters.

This position offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to quickly assume responsibility for your own caseload from inception through settlement, hearings, or trial. Associates who demonstrate strong analytical thinking, professionalism, initiative, and client management skills will be given substantial opportunities for growth and courtroom experience early in their career.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
  • Confidence working independently while also collaborating within a team environment
  • A willingness to learn, accept direction, and contribute to the success of fellow attorneys and staff
  • The ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and client expectations in a fast-paced practice

Associates may also have the opportunity to develop experience and eventually build a practice in additional areas of law based on aptitude, initiative, business development efforts, and overall performance.

We are seeking someone who is motivated, adaptable, and ready to grow within a team-oriented environment that values professionalism, work ethic, and client service.
