ROLE DESCRIPTION


We are looking for Associate Lecturers to cover a range of freelance training assignments in Sports Event Management in London.


London Classes:

  • Ad-hoc cover this term (Feb-March 2026)
  • 5-day blocks (M-F) in late Feb, early July and late November 2026
  • Regular weekly classes from late Sept 2026
  • Training Location: Novotel London Excel, E16 1AA (Custom House: Elizabeth Line or DLR)


The roles involve:


  • researching and preparing course materials based on the curriculum provided
  • teaching and mentoring students
  • facilitating interactive and engaging learning experiences e.g venue tours, guest speakers, industry events, networking opportunities
  • providing real-world insights into the subject area.



EXPERIENCE


Essential


  • A minimum 10 years experience and expertise in planning and delivering sporting events
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities
  • Ability to provide practical, real-world insights


Ideal


  • Experience in lecturing, tutoring, teaching, mentoring, coaching or training
  • An existing sports/venue/event industry network in London



QUALIFICATIONS


Ideal


  • Qualification in sports management or event management
  • A training, teaching or coaching qualification



REMUNERATION


These are Freelance Associate Roles.


  • London classes: Rates: £150 per day (10-4, 1 hr break)

Please note no travel or other expenses are paid. Invoices can be submitted weekly or monthly following delivery and invoice payment terms are 30 days from receipt of invoice.


  • You must be legally authorised to work in United Kingdom. We are not offering visa sponsorship.
