We are seeking successful brokerage managers who are excited to embrace new technology and join a fast-growing startup.

Number of open positions

2 (minimum) - 4 (for the right candidates)

$70,000 - $90,000 base with approximately $50,000 for every $1 million in premium written. OTE should be between $150,000 and $190,000 for the first year with upward potential.

Responsibilities

  • Outbound activities to source new opportunities from new advisors.
  • Understand advisors case design objectives and provide relevant recommendations to include running term quotes and permanent product illustrations
  • Track advisor opportunities in company CRM and follow-up for applications
  • Aid advisors in submitting business
  • Required to use independent judgment related to next action necessary and in leveraging appropriate escalation and asks of both advisors and carriers.
  • Continuously looks for ways to expedite and improve our processes and services.
  • Maintains positive relationships with your financial advisors, underwriters, and internal team.
  • Track record of successes in fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Provide feedback to product and design on features for case management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Life insurance experience is required
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence a situation to achieve the best client outcome
  • Superior problem-solver, who thinks outside of the box, not afraid to dig deeper to get the best client outcome. Willing to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise excellent judgment
  • Strong phone and computer skills specifically Microsoft Excel and Word with the ability to quickly learn and master our internal and carrier software programs. Experience with Winflex is required
  • 3+ years of life insurance brokerage sales
  • Ability to generate $1 to $1.5 million in premium within the first year (has an existing book of business)
  • Strong understanding of multiple life insurance carrier products, case design experience, recruiting new advisors, and presenting sales concepts
