Are you motivated to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to deliver new projects for our clients? This is a full-time position with Los Angeles Community College District. The ideal Business Analyst I is a detail-oriented accounting or finance professional with 35 years of experience in reconciliations, accruals, financial reporting, and analysis.

They are proficient in Excel and accounting systems, able to identify and resolve discrepancies, and communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors. SME for department systems and system integration and implementation projects. Reconcile financial accounts and reports.

Prepare and/or review assigned financial statements, reports and analysis and address/resolve issues. Includes the preparation and routing of such for approval as well as the maintenance and reconciliation of logs. Assist in processing of general contractor's payment analysis.

Evaluate and ensure bond compliance in regard to financial accounting, reporting and invoice payments. 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields. ~ Experience in working with business enterprise or accounting systems. ~ Experience creating monthly financial reports and analyzing results. ~ Intermediate proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint. ~ Ability to lead projects to successful conclusion. Bachelor's degree in business or related degree.
