This individual will own the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day operation of business applications, SaaS platforms, and operational systems.</p> <p> </p> <p>Our ideal candidate will have strong experience managing a SaaS/business application portfolio, partnering with internal stakeholders, interfacing with software vendors, and supporting new system integrations.</p> <p> </p> <p>This stable, growing company offers an attractive salary, along with a comprehensive benefits package, generous paid time off, company-paid holidays, and a 401K plan. (with expenses paid)</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Own the multi-year roadmap and strategy for DQE’s SaaS application and business systems portfolio, balancing new capability, operational reliability, and technical debt</li> <li>Lead and mentor business systems analysts and administrators, setting standards for documentation, governance, and operational excellence</li> <li>Partner with executive and functional leadership across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Product to align platform investments with business priorities</li> <li>Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies</li> <li>Direct administration, configuration, and operational support of DQE’s SaaS and business systems portfolio, including ERP, CRM, reporting, and operational tooling</li> <li>Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate needs, and recommend scalable technology solutions</li> <li>Own the lifecycle of DQE’s core platforms such as, NetSuite (ERP), SiteTracker, and the enterprise data warehouse, along with supporting CRM, HRIS, and BI tools</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to implement enhancements, integrations, and new solutions</li> <li>Develop documentation, workflows, governance standards, and system best practices</li> <li>Monitor system performance, data integrity, user access, and platform health</li> <li>Assist with reporting, dashboards, analytics, and operational data management initiatives</li> <li>Lead vendor strategy across the portfolio: contract negotiations, renewals, performance management, escalations, and consolidation decisions</li> <li>Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools, including platforms such as Claude, to improve workflows and productivity</li> <li>Support governance initiatives related to system administration, data management, and operational processes</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in business systems, SaaS administration, or enterprise applications</li> <li>A minimum of 2 years leading a team or owning a platform portfolio end-to-end</li> <li>Working knowledge of NetSuite (ERP)</li> <li>Experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and translating operational needs into technical solutions</li> <li>Experience working with vendors, third-party providers, or managed service partners</li> <li>Experience with data warehouse platforms, reporting systems, or business intelligence tools</li> <li>Hands-on systems administration experience with business-critical platforms</li> <li>Familiarity with governance, compliance, and operational process management</li> <li>Experience with project coordination or solution implementation initiatives</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or related discipline</li> <li>Experience with workflow automation, integrations, or API-driven platforms</li> <li>Preferred: hands-on experience applying AI-enabled tools (e.g., Claude) to automate reporting, documentation, or operational workflows</li> <li>Knowledge of telecommunications, infrastructure, or technology-focused business environments</li> </ul>
