We are building a two-sided marketplace and communication platform for consumers to streamline the purchase, renovation, and maintenance of homes — making the entire process more transparent, efficient, and connected for homeowners and service professionals.We are seeking a Founding CTO & Technical Co-Founder to own the full technical vision, architecture, and development of our platform from MVP through launch and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all technical strategy, architecture, and implementation decisions
- Design and build the core platform including payment integrations, real-time messaging systems, and machine learning matching algorithms
- Develop the initial web application followed by native iOS and Android applications
- Establish engineering standards, development processes, and technical roadmap
- Hire, mentor, and lead future engineering team members as the company grows
- Collaborate closely with the CEO on product priorities and go-to-market strategy
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated progression into technical leadership roles
