A Snapshot of Your Day


As a Client Sales Manager, you will manage accounts within your assigned territory, ensuring client satisfaction with Siemens Energy products and services. Your day will involve developing and executing a robust Territory Plan, managing selling resources, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Remote position in Indianapolis, Indiana area.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and execute an annual Territory Plan to drive sales and profitability.
  • Manage and deploy selling resources effectively within your territory.
  • Track and forecast opportunities while maintaining competitive awareness.
  • Create strategies to increase sales and profitability for assigned customers.
  • Conduct won/loss reporting and define/communicate client needs and market conditions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in sales or engineering within the rotating equipment industry, with knowledge of turbo, reciprocating, and steam applications. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Strong ability to build client relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent listening skills and a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
  • Good organizational skills, including time management, file organization, and report writing.
  • Proven ability to close business opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel 50% within the territory of major accounts (Domestic only).
