The Clinical Omnipod Discover Specialist (CDS) plays a critical role in driving adoption, understanding, and effective utilization of a diabetes data management platform designed to improve diabetes care and enhance clinic efficiency for Omnipod prescribers and users. In this role, the CDS partners closely with healthcare providers (HCPs) within an assigned region and accounts to onboard clinics to the diabetes data management platform, deliver education that builds confidence in diabetes data management, and provide ongoing data management support to drive sustained adoption. The CDS ensures seamless integration of the platform into existing clinic workflows while minimizing disruption to daily operation. Through education, consultation, and technical support, the CDS helps increase data management awareness, confidence, and proficiency among HCPs to support improved patient outcomes. We’re looking for A passionate problem solver, driven to make a meaningful impact through healthcare technology A quick learner, eager to build technical expertise in diabetes data management platforms while leveraging clinical and business experience A customer-focused professional, committed to delivering exceptional experiences for HCPs and internal stakeholders Core Responsibilities Drive Platform Adoption and Impact Deliver tailored education and communication to HCPs to proactively address customer needs and lead effective clinic onboarding for the diabetes data management platform Assess, diagnose, and resolve provider questions related to platform usage and reporting through consultation, education, and instruction Present the diabetes data management platform by articulating a compelling value proposition that differentiates Omnipod from competitors, providing in-depth technical and educational expertise to address HCPs questions and concerns Demonstrate Clinical Expertise Serve as the subject matter expert for the diabetes data management platform, providing guidance to both internal and external stakeholders Educate HCPs and internal stakeholders on platform value, features, initiatives, and new enhancements to drive confidence and proficiency in the diabetes data management platform Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to resolve platform related challenges, ensuring timely resolution and minimal clinic workflow disruption, both virtually and in-person Collaborate for Impact Partner with sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to execute organizational priorities Capture and share customer feedback related to innovation, functionality, and product enhancements to key stakeholders within the organization Collaborate with teams to support clinical inquiries and provide troubleshooting assistance as needed Skills and Abilities Experience with diabetes data management platforms and/or medical device sales experience Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and align internal stakeholders Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver regional objectives in a fast-paced environment Ability to translate complex technical concepts and clinical workflow processes into clear, simplified, and actionable steps Strong collaborative skills with a consistent focus on successful execution and results Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and recommend solutions for technology-related issues Proficiency with healthcare technology and clinical workflow systems, including enterprise data platforms and personal medical devices (e.g., insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors) Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and apply learnings to inform decisions and strategy Education and Experience Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree 3+ years of relevant clinical experience 2+ years specializing in diabetes management Professional, up-to-date credentials and/or certifications (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Nurse (RN), PharmD, or other clinical credentials and/or certifications; state licensure (as required per state) Valid driver’s license required Physical Requirements Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned area. This position is a field-based position requiring significant travel within a defined region; travel is estimated at approximately 75%, with overnight travel required and may flex depending on business needs. Candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting proximity to a major airport/airline hub.
