Job Details<br><br><strong>Description<br><br></strong><strong>Job Summary<br><br></strong>As a CBRE, GDS Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties. This includes mopping, sweeping and trash disposal. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of your assigned areas.<br><br><strong>Primary Job Functions<br><br></strong><ul><li>Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor. </li><li>Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap. </li><li>Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc. </li><li>Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which includes moving and rearranging furniture. </li><li>Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. </li><li>Ensure that cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times.  </li><li>Complete standardized cleaning process as per company standards. </li><li>Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment. </li><li>Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions. </li><li>Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. </li><li>Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Education, Experience And Certification<br><br></strong><strong>Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent<br><br></strong><strong>Required: 2 Years of related job experience<br><br></strong><strong>Working Conditions<br><br></strong>Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc.<br><br><strong>Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and moving furniture.  </li><li>Ability to follow basic work routines. </li><li>Ability to communicate. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. </li><li>Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes. </li><li>Reliable and responsible, can work independently or as part of a team. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Disclaimer<br><br></strong>CBRE Government and Defense is thrilled at the opportunity for you to apply to one of our roles.
