Content and Community Specialist for PC Enthusiasts

About the position

Join passionate PC enthusiasts driving marketing programs for the tech community. We're looking for a Content and Community Specialist with strong project management skills and experience in client PC hardware and gaming to help drive the production of educational tech content and engage across tech-focused social and community channels. This position is primarily focused on building Intel's relationship with tech enthusiasts through our Intel Technology YouTube and X channels. It involves coordinating content production with subject-matter experts, internal stakeholders, and agency partners in a dynamic and highly matrixed organization. The role is also responsible for publishing content, engaging organically in related conversation, answering technical questions, escalating issues, and directing support cases to the appropriate forums. As a secondary focus, this position involves engaging with the Intel Insiders Discord community and maintaining relationships with its moderators. It owns Discord engagement activities that connect the community with subject-matter experts, tech evangelists, and other notable people in the PC arena. Ownership involves all related project management, internal coordination, and subsequent reporting. Content publishing and production duties apply only to Intel Technology social channels and Intel Insiders Discord. However, the role also involves using technical expertise and community acumen to provide occasional guidance to teams engaging on other Intel social and community channels.

Responsibilities

  • Publishing content on Intel Technology YouTube and X
  • Driving content projects, including project management, coordinating with internal subject-matter experts and stakeholders, and collaborating with agency partners
  • Engaging with the tech community through consistent, authentic, and transparent dialog on Intel Technology YouTube and X, along with Intel Insiders Discord
  • Bringing the voice of the tech community into internal discussions
  • Cultivating advocates and building relationships with tech enthusiasts and moderators
  • Owning and executing Discord engagement activities
  • Answering questions about Intel client products and technologies, and escalating cases to stakeholders and support teams where appropriate
  • Providing occasional guidance to internal teams on social media and community responses that require additional technical and/or community nuance
  • Collaborating on activities, programs, and strategies that drive education and advocacy in the tech community

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of industry experience in the following listed qualifications or 3+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in content production and/or community management in the tech or gaming industry
  • 1+ years Expertise in client PC hardware and gaming, along with authentic enthusiasm for both
  • 1+ years of project management skills
