About the team

You’ll be working closely with the VP - Credit, supporting the day-to-day functioning of the Credit Underwriting team while gaining hands-on exposure across business operations, data analysis, and reporting frameworks.

This role offers an immersive learning experience across the underwriting and analytics lifecycle - from handling raw data to building reports, dashboards, and business insights that support decision-making. Expect hands-on exposure, cross-functional collaboration, and real ownership from day one.

What You will do

As a Credit Underwriting Intern, you will actively be involved in:

  • Assisting the Credit Underwriting team with day-to-day data and reporting activities
  • Working directly with the VP - Credit on operational and analytical tasks
  • Cleaning, organizing, and validating large datasets using Excel
  • Building and maintaining dashboards, trackers, and reports
  • Using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas, and Conditional Formatting
  • Supporting data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and business insights
  • Preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for data-related requirements
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives through automation and better reporting practices

What will you need

  • Undergraduates or recent graduates
  • Available for a minimum duration of 3 months
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP
  • Pivot Tables
  • Basic formulas and functions
  • Data cleaning and formatting
  • Dashboard preparation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
  • Interest in data analysis, business operations, and reporting
