Data Quality & Reporting Analyst – Chennai – Excel & Dashboard Skills Required

Job Summary:

SysTechCare Support is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Quality & Reporting Analyst to join our growing team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, preparing insightful reports, and creating interactive dashboards that support strategic business decisions. You will play a vital part in improving data accuracy, validating data quality, and enabling data-driven operations across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, validate, and improve the accuracy and consistency of business-critical data across systems.

  • Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports using Excel, Power BI, and other visualization tools.

  • Perform root cause analysis of data issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inconsistencies.

  • Interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on data quality issues, reporting standards, and dashboard logic.

  • Ensure that reports and dashboards are delivered timely, with a high level of accuracy and usability.

  • Work closely with business users, data engineers, and IT to improve data processes and support project implementations.

  • Automate repetitive data reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and macros.

  • Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools.

  • Solid understanding of data quality concepts, including validation, cleansing, and reconciliation.

  • Ability to manage large datasets, identify anomalies, and correct inconsistencies with attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a data quality, reporting, or business intelligence role.

  • Experience working in a data-driven environment supporting decision-making and reporting requirements.

  • Exposure to SQL or database querying is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday

  • 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST

  • Hybrid or remote work options may be considered based on performance and business needs.
