Identify innovative data science opportunities that provide the biggest impact to our business strategy. Apply advanced data science knowledge to leverage state-of-the-art methods and technologies. Lead by example to establish best data practices. Develop statistical and machine learning methods to solve business problems and derive actionable business insights and recommendations. Present insights and recommendations to executive and business stakeholders discovered from data analysis and statistical/machine learning algorithms. Work with data engineers to test and validate training and production data pipelines and complete the Dev Ops Life cycle. Derive metrics for model performance and conduct continuous monitoring after model deployment. Engineer datasets from different sources for data analysis and model development, which includes wrangling, cleansing, and pre-processing data. Collaborate in an agile analytics delivery team along with business stakeholders, business analysts, data engineers, and fellow data scientists.

Position requires a Bachelor\'s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.

Must have work experience with:

  • Python, R, or SAS programming;
  • Algorithms and statistics including performing advanced linear and non-linear supervised modeling techniques and analysis of variance modeling for measuring cause and effect relationships, such as advanced regression, random forests, and neural networks;
  • Data Modeling and queries including formulating data relationship definitions and transforming data into useable forms using SQL programming and similar methods using SQL applications such as MySQL or BigQuery;
  • Machine learning and data pipelines to support implementation of automated business insights or AI-enabled business decisions; and
  • Data mining from various data sources including leveraging unsupervised and supervised learning methods such as tree-based algorithms, principal components (PCA), and clustering to identify and measure latent patterns within large datasets.
