Dealer Sales Analyst – Prairie Zone (Calgary Based)

<p><b>**Please note this is a remote position working out of Calgary**</b></p><p></p><p><b><u>SCOPE OF POSITION:</u></b></p><p>The Dealer Sales Analyst is an exciting developmental position to learn the diverse business acumen of an automotive OE and its’ role in directly guiding the activities of our retail outlets (Dealers). </p><p></p><p>The successful candidate is responsible for supporting operational needs to strengthen and support the Honda brand while ensuring attainment of key performance programs, new vehicle allocation, dealership profitability, and customer satisfaction with a select group of dealers in Prairie Zone.</p><p></p><p>As the key contact for dealer communications, this individual will take lead in producing KPI reporting, provide support to Zone Management as well as administrative functions in the office as required.  </p><p></p><p>The Dealer Sales Analyst will complete majority of their work via virtual contact to ensure the overall objectives of Honda are achieved.   Incumbent will have the opportunity to travel in person to meet in-dealership management teams to establish communication and working knowledge of their market as well as National Brand events as scheduled.</p><p></p><p><b><u>A DAY IN THE LIFE:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>You bring a passion for learning and desire to help support continuous improvement;</p></li><li><p>A great team awaits you that will support your own growth and gaining knowledge as the industry enters a period of generational <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">transformation;  </span></p></li><li><p>You’ll be leading your dealers in the adoption of business tools and creating a top tier automotive network for the Brand;</p></li><li><p>Developing and reporting on key business metrics, your output is directly received and reviewed Zone Management and by the Senior Management of Honda Canada to help guide business plan decisions each week.  A zest for high quality and ability to work with project timelines is important;</p></li><li><p>After a morning of analyzing current business trends, you’ll switch to supporting your territory of dealers and prepare presentations for your virtual meetings. You will have opportunities to build supporting slides for Advertising planning meetings and key zone presentations.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><u>POSITION PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS</u></b></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span>Completed post-secondary education specializing in Business or Automotive or equivalent experience;</span></p></li><li><p>Intermediate PC skills with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;</p></li><li><p>Must entail strong presentation and communication skills. Written and verbal;</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities;</p></li><li><p>Ability to travel on occasion within Canada and must hold valid Driver’s License;</p></li><li><p>Must be results-oriented;</p></li><li><p>Develops and maintains good working relationships within Honda Canada as well as all other internal and external stakeholders;</p></li><li><p>Several years’ experience in the automotive field, or an equivalent experience in logistics, distribution, analytics;</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Honda products and current industry conditions.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>HIRING PRACTICES</p><p></p><p>The salary range for this position is $72,921.00 - $86,593.00 CAD hourly.
