With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.<br><br><strong>Role description:<br><br></strong>Arcadis is seeking a <strong>Design Project Manager for our Government and Civic market sector,</strong> with a strong emphasis on managing multidisciplinary design teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and cost-controlled project outcomes for <strong>Federal clients, including USACE, NAVFAC, and AFCEC.<br><br></strong>This role resides within the Design Management Department of the North America Places group.<br><br><strong>Role accountabilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Managing multidisciplinary design teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality technical deliverables across all project stages</li><li>Implementing and enforcing quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes throughout design development</li><li>Maintaining fiduciary responsibility for project budgets, including monitoring expenditures, managing scope, forecasting costs, and ensuring delivery meets financial targets</li><li>Acting as the primary client interface, leading reviews, presenting design decisions, and ensuring client objectives and federal requirements are consistently met</li><li>Developing and managing detailed project execution plans, schedules, and design delivery workflows using digital platforms and best-practice methodologies</li><li>Driving on-time delivery of all design milestones and managing change, risk, and scope within established project controls</li><li>Coordinating work across architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of all design components</li><li>Preparing and delivering clear written reports, technical documentation, and presentations, with a strong focus on federal standards, compliance, and funding considerations</li><li>Contributing to pursuit strategies, fee proposals, and the development of winning approaches for federal design projects</li><li>Providing leadership as a “seller-doer,” supporting both project delivery and business development activities</li><li>Travel up to 20%, including occasional overnight stays<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications & Experience:<br><br></strong><ul><li>10+ or more years’ relevant experience in the federal market sector, Min. 5+ years’ experience leading large multi-discipline design-engineered solutions and construction projects</li><li>Strong financial background related to projects and client management</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills that are clear and concise</li><li>Experience reviewing drawings and multi-discipline designs on digital platforms</li><li>Experience working with projects that utilize Fundamental knowledge of Autodesk Platforms: Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modelling (BIM) engineered solutions</li><li>Obtain Certified Project Management (CPM) certification status within 30 days of hire.
