Domiciliary Care Assistant – Sponsorship Swap for Tier 2 Visa Holders

Job Summary

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Domiciliary Care Assistants who are already in the UK under a Tier 2 visa and looking for sponsorship swap opportunities. This role is perfect for those passionate about making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and the elderly, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-standard personal care and companionship to service users in their homes.

  • Support clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and feeding.

  • Administer or prompt medication as per care plans and compliance protocols.

  • Monitor and record clients physical and emotional well-being, reporting concerns to senior staff.

  • Provide support with household tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and meal preparation.

  • Accompany clients to appointments or social outings where necessary.

  • Build positive, respectful relationships with service users and their families.

  • Follow all safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must currently hold a valid Tier 2 (Skilled Worker) Visa and be eligible for sponsorship transfer.

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it) is desirable.

  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

  • Empathetic, patient, and committed to delivering person-centred care.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

  • Good understanding of UK care standards and regulations.

  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 6 months experience working in a domiciliary, community, or residential care setting in the UK.

  • Familiarity with UK care documentation and digital record-keeping systems is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working options available: Full-time, Part-time, and Weekend Shifts.

  • Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, and occasional overnight duties.

  • Rotational schedule including alternate weekends.

  • Strong time management and ability to respond to care priorities efficiently.

  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse client needs.

  • Physical ability to assist with client mobility and manual handling.
