Eddies Food Truck Lead Cook/Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Truck Cook/Driver to oversee the daily operations of our very popular Eddies Food Truck. Additionally you will work as a part time cook at Eddies on Main Street when/if needed. This role is essential for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food. The precision timing and execution of Eddies Truck events is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to help manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the food truck, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and train staff in food production, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain inventory levels, help order supplies, and manage food production schedules to ensure timely service.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members as needed.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
  • Oversee catering events and banquet services as required, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Implement effective marketing strategies to promote the food truck at various locations and events.

Qualifications

  • Experienced and efficient grill cook experience
  • Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within casual dining or catering environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
  • Knowledge of food production processes, safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
  • Experience in interviewing and training staff members is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A passion for food, creativity in menu development, and an understanding of current culinary trends are highly desirable.
  • A valid Ohio Drivers license with no restrictions.
