Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and fast-paced Video Editor to join our remote content creation team. You will be responsible for editing engaging and visually compelling YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok videos that drive audience engagement and help grow our digital presence. If you have a strong visual storytelling style and are passionate about internet culture and short-form content, this is the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into highly engaging short-form video content (YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikToks).

  • Add transitions, motion graphics, captions, sound effects, and music to enhance video quality.

  • Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to align on video themes, pacing, and visual tone.

  • Keep up with trending formats, meme culture, and viral styles to produce relevant content.

  • Optimize video formats for different platforms and maintain brand consistency across all outputs.

  • Deliver final videos within deadlines while incorporating feedback quickly and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.

  • Strong portfolio of edited short-form content (please include links in your application).

  • Understanding of social media algorithms, platform-specific video dimensions, and trends.

  • Knowledge of audio syncing, color grading, and basic animation.

  • Excellent attention to detail and storytelling instincts.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in short-form video editing, preferably for YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok.

  • Experience working in a digital marketing, content creation, or social media team is a plus.

  • Freshers with exceptional editing portfolios are also encouraged to apply.
