Enterprise Account Executive (US & Canada)

JOB OVERVIEW Kevel is looking for a high-performing Retail Media Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business across retailers, marketplaces, and commerce partners building retail and commerce media networks in the United States and Canada. This is a strategic, consultative sales role focused on closing complex, API-driven infrastructure deals with enterprise customers. You will help retailers and commerce companies build and scale custom ad platforms powered by Kevel’s technology. Reporting to the VP of Sales, US and Canada, you will own the full enterprise sales cycle and play a critical role in expanding Kevel’s footprint in the rapidly growing retail media ecosystem. Every deal you close will materially impact company growth. LOCATION Remote - United States or Canada. This position is 100% remote. PAY TRANSPARENCY Kevel uses external, third-party market data to determine compensation for all open positions. Our compensation philosophy is based on the candidate’s specific working location and experience level. This means that we will take a no negotiation approach in our recruitment and offer processes. The base salary for this position ranges from $145,000 - $200,000 USD. In addition, this role is eligible for performance-based variable compensation/commission offering significant on target total earnings potential. In regards to candidate location in the US specifically, Kevel currently uses validated external data sources to determine which US locations are considered higher cost of living metropolitan areas compared to others. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Revenue Growth Own a defined territory across the US and Canada, targeting enterprise retailers, marketplaces, and commerce partners. Prospect, qualify, and close net-new enterprise opportunities. Develop account-based strategies in partnership with Marketing to generate and nurture pipeline. Meet and exceed assigned revenue and pipeline generation targets. Complex Enterprise Sales Execution Lead the full sales lifecycle from discovery and solution positioning through negotiation and close. Drive multi-threaded sales cycles engaging executive stakeholders, product leaders, technical teams, procurement, and legal. Clearly articulate Kevel’s API-first value proposition and differentiated infrastructure model. Structure and negotiate commercial agreements, MSAs, and long-term partnerships. Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in CRM. Strategic Solution Selling Diagnose customer monetization challenges and position Kevel as a strategic infrastructure partner — not just a vendor. Collaborate closely with Solutions Architects and Product to design tailored solutions that meet technical and business objectives. Educate prospects on building scalable retail media networks and modern ad serving architectures. Provide structured market feedback to inform product and go-to-market strategy. SKILLS YOU'LL BRING WITH YOU 5+ years of experience in retail media, preferably working with retail or commerce media ad tech Existing relationships with retail media stakeholders in the US and Canada. Proven success closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals and consistently exceeding quota. Experience selling to retailers, marketplaces, publishers, or commerce platforms. Strong understanding of retail media networks and sell-side monetization solutions. Ability to sell technical, API-driven solutions in partnership with technical stakeholders. Experience navigating enterprise procurement, legal, and contract negotiations. Disciplined forecasting, CRM management, and pipeline development skills. Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value. Familiarity with platforms such as Criteo, CitrusAd, PromoteIQ, Epsilon, Equativ, Xandr, or similar is a plus. Analytical mindset with a focus on driving ad performance and monetization growth for publishers and retailers. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, actionable strategies for clients.
