Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is hiring energetic, talented, and passionate individuals for the role of Entertainment Crew Members aboard world-class cruise ships. We are seeking Dancers, Singers, and Performers who can light up the stage and captivate diverse international audiences through high-quality performances and entertainment shows. This is an exciting opportunity for performers to travel the world while doing what they love, on luxury cruise liners hosting gala nights, themed parties, cultural events, and musical showcases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver live entertainment performances including stage shows, dance routines, singing acts, and themed events.

  • Participate in daily rehearsals and onboard entertainment programs as scheduled.

  • Engage and interact with cruise guests to elevate their overall vacation experience.

  • Collaborate with choreographers, music directors, and production staff to maintain professional-level performances.

  • Assist in organizing and hosting onboard events such as talent shows, game nights, karaoke, and festivals.

  • Maintain performance costumes, props, and gear; ensure personal presentation is cruise-standard.

  • Follow ship safety protocols and represent the cruise brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional training or demonstrated experience in dancing, singing, theater, or live performance.

  • Strong stage presence, showmanship, and crowd engagement abilities.

  • Ability to memorize and perform choreographed routines or scripted content.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guest interaction.

  • Team spirit, discipline, and adaptability to multi-cultural environments.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of performance experience in live shows, theater, or cruise/club/hotel entertainment preferred.

  • Freshers with strong talent and confidence are also welcome to audition.

Working Hours

  • Flexible schedules including evening and weekend performances.

  • On average, 6 days a week with 8–10 hours including rehearsals, shows, and guest interaction.

  • Off-days and shore leave as per cruise itinerary and management policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of multiple dance styles (e.g., contemporary, salsa, jazz, hip hop, ballroom) is an advantage.

  • Singing in multiple languages or playing instruments is a bonus.

  • Physical stamina and fitness to endure high-energy performances.

  • Ability to adapt to cruise ship life, including living in shared accommodations.

  • Multilingual ability or experience working with diverse audiences is desirable.
