Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Installation Specialist to join our growing renewable energy team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial solar PV systems.

  • Prepare and organize installation sites, ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are ready for safe and efficient work.

  • Assemble and install solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical components according to technical specifications.

  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior staff.

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including site reports and material usage.

  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and industry standards during installations.

  • Support the team with logistics, inventory management, and daily operational tasks as needed.

  • Participate in on-the-job training and certification programs to enhance skills and technical knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in electrical or renewable energy fields are a plus.

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and willingness to learn solar PV installation techniques.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation manuals.

Experience
