Our extensive portfolio includes drug-eluting stents, bare metal stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters and software, vessel closure devices and peripheral stents.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Our location in </span><b><u><span>Santa Clara, CA</span></u></b><span>, currently has an opportunity for an </span><b><u><span>EHS Specialist. </span></u></b></p><p></p><p><span>WHAT YOU’LL DO</span></p><p>Working without appreciable supervision, leads and supports EHS programs and assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of <span>programs/policies/practices</span> to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and effective injury and illness prevention programs.</p><p></p><p><span>Core Job Responsibilities:</span></p><ul><li><p>In support of site EHS team, coordinate and lead safety and health compliance activities, programs and prevention efforts.</p></li><li><p>Applies basic technical knowledge/skills to EHS programs and systems.</p></li><li><p>Support EHS programs in performing training, workplace incident investigations, inspections and internal audits as directed.</p></li><li><p>Support EHS programs in the management of hazardous waste activities as needed.</p></li><li><p>Develop and lead compliance training.</p></li><li><p>Review and maintain SDS database and site chemical inventories.</p></li><li><p>Supports EHS management in conducting reviews for facility modification, new product development, product modification and new equipment/machinery as directed.</p></li><li><p>On call for EHS emergencies (24/7).</p></li><li><p>Work under the direct supervision of the EHS Management, while independently working and solving day-to-day problems.
