Position Overview In this senior role, you will be responsible for building comprehensive Power BI solutions from the ground up, utilizing your mastery of data query, transformation, data modeling, and visualization techniques. Your expertise will be crucial in creating interactive and dynamic dashboards, reports, and data models that meet the evolving needs of our clients. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and implement best practices in Power BI development. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop end-to-end Power BI solutions, including data query, transformation, data modeling, and visualization. • Mastery of the Power BI "Get data" step, including accessing various data sources, SQL embedded queries, Power Query Editor data transformations, and query management. • Utilize DAX to create complex calculations, measures, and data models that support business intelligence and analytics. • Develop interactive and dynamic dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights and drive business decisions. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, design solutions, and implement best practices in Power BI development. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing robust data validation, debugging, and testing procedures. • Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability, leveraging query folding, direct SQL queries, and other advanced techniques. • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our solutions and services.
