Position Overview This requisition is an expression of interest posting used to identify qualified candidates for procurement and supply chain opportunities supporting Bechtel projects and enterprise teams. This posting is not tied to a specific role, project, or experience level.

Candidates may be considered for a range of procurement, sourcing, materials, or supply chain roles, spanning Support, Professional, and Management tracks, as business and project needs evolve. Bechtel’s Talent Acquisition team will engage qualified candidates to discuss potential alignment to current or upcoming roles across projects and business units.

Job Summary Procurement and Supply Chain professionals enable successful project execution by supporting and leading sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, materials coordination, logistics, and contract administration activities. Depending on role assignment and level, individuals may contribute as individual contributors, technical specialists, or people leaders supporting project, regional, or enterprise supply chain operations.

Responsibilities, scope, and level of accountability vary based on career track, grade level, and project or organizational assignment, consistent with Bechtel’s Supply Chain and Procurement job architecture.

Major Responsibilities Depending on assignment and level of responsibility, Procurement and Supply Chain professionals may perform some or all of the following:

  • Support or lead sourcing, purchasing, and supplier engagement activities in accordance with Bechtel policies and contractual requirements
  • Prepare, review, and manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and procurement documentation
  • Conduct cost, price, market, and commercial analysis to support procurement decisions
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to align supply chain execution with project needs
  • Support or manage materials planning, logistics coordination, delivery tracking, and supplier performance monitoring
  • Identify and resolve supplier, delivery, quality, or commercial issues
  • Ensure compliance with applicable procurement procedures, governance, and audit requirements
  • Prepare reports, metrics, and communications related to procurement and supply chain performance
  • For senior or management roles, lead supply chain execution strategies, oversee teams, manage budgets, and contribute to business unit or project planning and performance outcomes
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting or leading procurement, sourcing, materials management, logistics, subcontract administration, or supply chain operations
  • Experience may range from early career through senior leadership levels
  • Advanced experience, leadership responsibility, or specialized expertise may be required for certain roles
