You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.</p><p></p><p><b>Facilities Manager, Regional Field Support (Remote Central Florida)</b></p><p></p><h2><b>Position Overview</b></h2><p></p><p>Ferguson is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Facilities Manager to support our Southern Georgia and Florida portfolio, with a primary focus on the Central Florida and surrounding markets.</p><p></p><p>This role is responsible for leading facilities operations across a large multi-site portfolio, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective environments that support our associates and customers. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise, intuition for business, customer service, and leadership skills to enhance efficiency and long-term asset performance.</p><p></p><p><b>Location: </b>This is a remote, home-office-based position supporting facilities throughout Southern Georgia and Florida.</p><p></p><p>Candidates should reside within approximately a 2–3-hour driving radius of the Central Florida market to effectively support the assigned portfolio.</p><p></p><p>Travel for regional and corporate meetings along with travel throughout the region is required and is expected to be approximately 30%–40%, including same-day site visits and overnight travel.</p><p></p><h2><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2><p></p><ul><li>Manage the repair, maintenance, and lifecycle replacement of facility assets across a portfolio of up to 90–140 locations.</li><li>Perform in depth Annual Site Assessments for all locations in assigned area.</li><li>Implement and complete Ferguson's Integrated Facilities Management strategy across owned and leased properties.</li><li>Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely, effective solutions that support field operations while balancing quality, speed, and cost.</li><li>Partner with landlords, contractors, suppliers, and internal partners to ensure facilities are maintained to Ferguson standards.</li><li>Ensure critical building systems—including HVAC, fire protection, electrical, UPS, generators, and life safety systems—are properly maintained and operating reliably.</li><li>Lead regional programs focused on regulatory compliance, safety, security, inspections, and preventative maintenance.</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation supporting business continuity, emergency preparedness, and operational readiness.</li><li>Provide strategic recommendations through data analysis, reporting, presentations, and portfolio reviews.</li><li>Manage facilities operating budgets and maintenance expenditures while finding opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.</li><li>Evaluate and support capital investment initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term facilities strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with project management teams on renovations, expansions, and new construction projects.</li><li>Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key service providers and suppliers.</li><li>Drive vendor performance, service standardization, contract optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Champion high-quality service delivery and customer happiness through outstanding facilities management practices.</li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></h2><p></p><ul><li>3–5+ years of facilities management experience supporting multi-site portfolios, preferably within industrial, distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or retail/food service environments.</li><li>Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), with ServiceChannel experience preferred.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, fire protection, electrical infrastructure, generators, UPS systems, and asset lifecycle management.</li><li>Proven experience managing operating budgets, capital planning, vendor relationships, and facilities programs.</li><li>Strong organizational, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to facilities operations and safety compliance.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to balance customer service, operational performance, and financial stewardship.</li><li>Proven track record of driving results through collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Ability to travel up to 30%–40%.</li></ul><p></p><p>At Ferguson, we care for each other.
