<p><strong>Power the Future with us!</strong></p><p>SolarEdge (NASDAQ: SEDG), is a global leader in high-performance smart energy technology, with over 5000 employees, offices in 34 countries, and millions of products installed in over 133 countries.</p><p>Our diverse product offering comprises intelligent solar inverters, battery storage, backup systems, EV charging, and complete home energy management ecosystems.</p><p>By leveraging world-class engineering capabilities and with a relentless focus on innovation, we strive to create a world where clean, green energy from the sun is the primary source of power for our homes, businesses, and just about everywhere we thrive.</p><p>The Field Application Engineer is responsible for providing pre-sales customer support and training for SolarEdge products. </p><p><strong>Location</strong>: California, Remote</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Technical team contact in the geographic area for rooftop and ground-mount applications.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Training at customer site including design and installation.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Solar Edge system design expert.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Create and deliver product and technical training.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Understand of PV and energy storage modeling tools, such as PVSyst, Helioscope, Energy Tool Base.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Understand Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) and Electrical Balance of System (eBOS) modeling.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Single line diagram creation, inspection and sharing.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish working relationships with customers, peers and managers.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Ability to read and interpret schematics with a good understanding of high voltage and measurement equipment.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Ability to communicate distinctly and effectively in English using proper grammar to effectively answer all customer inquiries promptly and accurately.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and build enduring relationships.</li></ul><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong> </strong></p> <br><h3>Requirements</h3> <ul><li>BS in Engineering or equivalent experience required.</li><li>3 - 5 years experience in the renewable energy industry.</li><li>Excellent industry knowledge of competition, market trends in the renewable energy industry with focus on PV and energy storage.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of NEC and PV system regulatory codes for PV installations, including but not limited to the National Electrical Code, NEC 690, PV Power System installation, UL1741, IEE1547, for the interconnection of distributed resources with power systems, FERC661, etc.</li><li>Desired experience: Practical experience with communication protocols and controls scheme for solar and energy storage, and the modeling of energy storage applications.</li><li>Strong communication skills including listening and handling objections and complex technical inquiries in customer meetings.</li><li>Strong presentation skills.</li><li>Strong time and project management skills to proactively build trust and confidence as a remote employee</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills to build and develop relationships internally and externally.</li><li>Spanish language a plus</li></ul><p><strong>FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE</strong></p><p>At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation.
