Field Marketing Manager (Hiring Immediately)

About Canals Canals is a fully remote, profitable startup transforming the industrial supply chain ($10T industry) with AI. Our platform seamlessly integrates with the systems distributors already use, automating tedious tasks and reducing failure points in moving physical goods across the globe. We’re an 80-person team (~50 in engineering), located across North and South America. The Role Industry trade shows have been a key driver of our growth since the beginning — and we’re doubling down. We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager to take ownership of the operational side of our events and offline marketing efforts. In this role, you’ll manage logistics, campaigns, and communication around in-person events, ABM gifting, and virtual webinars. You’ll help ensure the team attending each conference is fully supported and able to focus on building relationships and closing deals. What You’ll Do Manage end-to-end logistics for trade shows: booth setup, swag, dinners, travel, and registration Coordinate pre‑ and post‑event outreach (email, LinkedIn, paid ads, app content, attendee lists) Support presenters with slide content, planning, and logistics for conference talks Maintain an organized conference calendar and help evaluate future opportunities Track and report on event outcomes to improve our ROI over time Support webinars and other virtual events from setup to execution Handle logistics for ABM gifting campaigns (packaging, shipping, tracking) Own vendor and association relationships tied to events and sponsorships Track and manage event budgets What You’ll Bring 2+ years of experience in marketing, event management, or a similar role Highly organized and reliable, with strong project management skills Comfortable juggling competing deadlines and shifting priorities Strong communicator and true team player Self‑motivated and proactive — someone who gets things done without needing hand‑holding Experience in a startup or fast‑paced environment is a plus Why Join Canals Real‑world impact: your work improves global supply chains, saving customers time and reducing waste.
