The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies. </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Financial Operations</strong></p> <ul><li>Process and record financial transactions in the Accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.</li><li>Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, journal entries, and supporting documentation.</li><li>Maintain organized financial records and ensure proper filing of all finance-related documents.</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.</li><li>Support finance team members in routine operational and administrative tasks.</li></ul> <p><strong>Accounts Payable and Receivable</strong></p> <ul><li>Support accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations.</li><li>Monitor accounts receivable balances and assist in follow-up on outstanding invoices and collections.</li><li>Reconcile supplier and customer statements and resolve discrepancies in coordination with relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of receivables, payables, and payment schedules.</li></ul> <p><strong>Treasury and Banking</strong></p> <ul><li>Assist in daily treasury operations, including bank transactions and cash management activities.</li><li>Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations.</li><li>Support cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and reporting activities.</li><li>Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders on payment processing and treasury documentation.</li></ul> <p><strong>Global Payroll Support</strong></p> <ul><li>Support payroll processing activities for employees and consultants across multiple regions.</li><li>Assist in maintaining payroll records and ensuring accuracy of payroll-related data.</li><li>Coordinate with HR and finance teams to process payroll changes, reimbursements, and statutory deductions where applicable.</li><li>Support payroll reconciliations and payroll reporting activities.</li></ul> <p><strong>Key Performance Indicator</strong></p> <ul><li>Financial Accuracy & Compliance</li><li>Timely Financial Operations.</li><li>Effective AP/AR Management<br><br></li></ul> <p><strong>Team and Reporting Structure</strong></p> <ul><li>Report to the Senior Finance Manager</li></ul> <p><strong>Profile</strong></p> <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.</li><li>Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, ICAN, or equivalent) is an advantage.</li><li>Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>High level of integrity and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul> <p><strong>Desirable</strong></p> <ul><li>Experience working in an international NGO, development organization, or multinational environment.</li><li>Familiarity with donor-funded project accounting and compliance requirements.</li><li>Experience using ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.</li></ul><strong> <figure></figure> </strong><p><strong></strong> </p> <p>Viamo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
