Financial Analyst-Business Intelligence Job ID 2026-5969 Category Strategy Type Full-Time Workplace policy Hybrid Overview The Financial Analyst BI prepares analytical financial reports to management to utilize in setting and realizing performance and profit objectives. Independently identifies areas of further analyses. Works on the implementation of new models to the bank (e.g. MPC Profitability, RPM).

What You'll Do: Formulates independent and new reporting analysis to improve information available to Executive & LOB management. Participates with the annual business plan. Works with Division Managers to review their progress toward their goals and makes recommendations to improve performance.

Independently, creates and maintains a framework for evaluating and reporting the performance of Divisions and their profitability directly related to success of the Bank and to the creation of new strategies towards meeting and exceeding Bank goals. Analyzes and reports on pricing (interest rates, indexes, product averages, outliers) and makes recommendations based on that analysis which directly affects Bank strategy. Evaluates products, their pricing, concentrations, penetration and profitability.

Makes recommendations for specific action and then measure the result of said action. Participates with special projects such as ad-hoc requests to analyze financial alternatives, possible investments, or proposed acquisitions. Works on implementation and management of new models to the Bank (e.g.

MPC Profitability, RPM). Participates in the update of policies and procedures.

Qualifications ~2-4 years experience in financial analysis and/or a business intelligence role. ~ Advanced SQL knowledge with data manipulation experience in a RDMS such as MS SQL Server. ~ Ability to use Business Intelligence (BI) tools and technologies to collect, evaluate and analyze management information. ~ Ability to communicate with business users to develop requirements for new reports. ~ Comfortable sharing reporting results with business users and training users to use reports. ~ Develop requirements, specifications, and carry out project tasks to develop, design, automate, compile, prepare and test reports and dashboards. ~ Experience with IBM Cognos 8. ~ Experience with Fiserv systems (MPC, FTP, ALM, Prologue, RPM, Premier, Sendero), a plus. ~ Excellent analytical skills, independent judgment and discretion required. ~ Expert in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
