FLEX Change Control Board Analyst

This is a temporary position.

JOB SUMMARY

The Flex Change Control Analyst will work closely with the Change Control Board Manager to support the Technology Transformation Office’s ongoing and future transformation scope, change management and processes. The role will leverage the established and industrialized Change Control Board process, tools and resources to effectively manage the full lifecycle of Change Requests from initiation to completion for the program.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing and supporting IT systems and operations; at least 3 years’ experience working on IT Change Management, Scope Management, Program Management, and Change Control Process
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Preferred

  • Expertise working with Power BI, Smartsheet and Power Automate
  • Experience in conflict resolution and people management
  • Expertise in reporting and analysis of Change Requests and Financial / Budget Impacts
  • Experience in managing and engaging mid to high level executives

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Intake & Documentation

  • Oversee the submission, completeness and maintenance of change requests using standardized forms and tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI) throughout the change request lifecycle
  • Ensure all required change request information is accurately captured before review: impacted teams, business rationale, risk, budget, funding, and schedule
  • Facilitate cross-functional impact assessments and engage all affected teams to evaluate cost, schedule, operational implications and approvals
  • Document mitigation strategies for medium and high-impact changes for executive review
  • Drive several community communications and meeting preparation, ensuring all impacted teams are informed and engaged prior to all Change Control Board sessions
  • Coordinate proxy assignments and ensure voting domains are represented for change request review
  • Document all required approval details and process eligible change requests to executive review based on established thresholds and processes
  • Maintain all audit trails and ensure compliance with CCB policies and service-level agreements (SLAs)
  • Maintain all CR details / status and follow up on all outstanding items, assessments and approvals
  • Recommend process improvements and support training for new change owners and impacted teams

Impact Assessment Coordination
