Flipkart Warehouse Executive – Inventory Management & Order Fulfillment

Job Summary

Flipkart is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Executive to join our supply chain and logistics operations team. As a Warehouse Executive, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse activities including inventory tracking, order picking and packing, stock auditing, and ensuring timely dispatches. This role is pivotal to ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment, contributing to Flipkarts promise of fast and reliable delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments accurately in the inventory management system

  • Organize and maintain stock locations and ensure safe and orderly storage

  • Pick, pack, and label products according to order requirements

  • Coordinate with logistics partners for timely dispatch and delivery of products

  • Perform cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits

  • Monitor stock levels and raise alerts for replenishment when necessary

  • Ensure all operational processes comply with Flipkarts safety and quality standards

  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks in the fulfillment process

  • Report damaged or defective goods and assist in the return process

  • Support warehouse supervisors in implementing process improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Logistics or Warehouse Management is a plus

  • Basic understanding of warehouse processes and supply chain functions

  • Familiarity with handheld scanners, barcode systems, and warehouse software

  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift moderate-weight packages (up to 25 kg)

  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures accurately

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Basic computer literacy (MS Excel/Google Sheets, email communication)

  • Willingness to work in shifts and handle manual tasks

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or fulfillment roles

  • Prior experience in an e-commerce or FMCG warehouse is highly desirable

Working Hours

  • Rotational shift basis: Morning, Evening, and Night shifts

  • 6-day work week with 1 weekly off (rotation-based)

  • Overtime as needed during peak seasons (e.g., Big Billion Days, Festive Sales)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of warehouse safety guidelines and ergonomics

  • Ability to operate warehouse tools such as pallet jacks and trolleys

  • Basic understanding of stock management and fulfillment KPIs

  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team leads, vendors, and transport partners

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on timely task execution
