You will play a crucial part in transforming fabric into finished garments that meet our quality, style, and durability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stitch garments according to given specifications, designs, and patterns

  • Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines efficiently

  • Perform fittings and alterations as per client requirements or product quality standards

  • Maintain high-quality stitching with attention to detail and finishing

  • Collaborate with pattern makers, designers, and other tailors

  • Inspect garments to ensure they are defect-free before final packaging

  • Maintain cleanliness and order of stitching equipment and workspace

  • Follow safety protocols and factory/boutique guidelines during all operations

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic literacy (ability to read measurements and instructions)

  • Proven ability to operate manual and electric sewing machines

  • Knowledge of stitching techniques including hemming, piping, and embroidery (preferred)

  • Ability to understand garment patterns, sizes, and fit

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

  • Willingness to learn and work under production timelines

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in tailoring, stitching, or a related role

  • Experience in garment manufacturing units or fashion boutiques is an advantage

  • Freshers with training from vocational stitching courses are also encouraged to apply

Working Hours

  • Factory-based: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

  • Boutique-based: Shift-based or flexible scheduling based on workload

  • Part-time and overtime opportunities are available for high-demand seasons

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of different types of fabrics and garment handling

  • Familiarity with measuring, cutting, and sewing tools

  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions precisely
