Job Summary

GracePath Healthcare is currently hiring passionate and committed Health & Social Care Assistants to join our dedicated care teams across the UK. This is a unique opportunity for compassionate individuals who are seeking UK sponsorship under the Health and Care Worker Visa in 2025. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of service users in residential, domiciliary, or supported living settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality personal care and support tailored to each individuals needs

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility

  • Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or emotional condition to senior staff

  • Support service users with medication management (following training and protocols)

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

  • Promote dignity, choice, and independence at all times

  • Maintain accurate records of care provided

  • Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and social workers

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and internal care procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Compassionate and caring nature

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to follow care plans and work as part of a team

  • Basic written and spoken English (IELTS UKVI preferred, if applicable for sponsorship)

  • Physically fit to undertake manual handling tasks

  • Understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries

Experience

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided

  • Freshers and international candidates are welcome to apply under the sponsorship scheme

  • Experience in elderly care, disability support, or dementia care will be an added advantage

Working Hours

  • Full-time: 37.5 – 48 hours per week

  • Shifts: Morning, Evening, Weekend, and Night Shifts (rotational)

  • Flexible hours and overtime available

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of health and social care best practices

  • Empathy and sensitivity when dealing with vulnerable individuals

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities

  • Ability to remain calm in challenging situations

  • Commitment to continuous learning and development
