This position will work to further ACCESS’s mission, vision, and values through our direct services/Healthline work.</span></p> <p><span style="color: rgb(86, 23, 63); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline">About the Role, Reporting Relationships and Overview: </span><span style="font-size: 10pt"><br></span><span style="font-size: 10pt">ACCESS REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE seeks a Healthline Finance Coordinator with a deep commitment to reproductive justice and a genuine passion for financial operations, data reporting, and working with numbers. As the Healthline Finance Coordinator, you will coordinate all non-direct service aspects of the Healthline financial operations, including financial processing, reconciliation, and reporting under the supervision of the Healthline Operations Director. You will work closely with the Healthline Co-Directors, Finance & Grants Manager, and broader ACCESS team to ensure financial integrity and transparency across the Healthline and direct services program.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt">The multilingual ACCESS Healthline provides free and confidential information, referrals, advocacy, and peer counseling on the full range of reproductive and sexual health issues, with a special expertise in pregnancy options and access to abortion. We coordinate with our callers and practical support volunteer network throughout California to navigate barriers to abortion access. The team currently includes the Healthline Co-Directors, Intake Coordinator, and Healthline Associates. While this is a finance-forward role, you will also receive training in direct service and case management to support as needed.</span></p> <p><span style="color: rgb(86, 23, 63); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline">What You’ll Do and What Success Will Look Like</span></p> <ol> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; text-decoration: underline">Healthline Financial Support (75%)</span> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Support recurring Healthline financial operations through backend processing, review, and reconciliation to ensure financial data is accurate and consistent across systems</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Complete weekly Healthline financial workflows, including:</span> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Create and maintain Healthline pledge records</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Process pledge payments in Ramp platform, ensuring accuracy and timeliness</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Reconciliation of Healthline financial data across Salesforce and Ramp</span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Support backend review of Healthline expenses documented by case managers to identify and correct discrepancies</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Maintain organized records of all Healthline payment transactions and supporting documentation</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Assist with the preparation of Healthline financial reports and summaries as needed</span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; text-decoration: underline">Direct Service & Case Management (25%)</span> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Independently support an identified number of cases by providing compassionate, nonjudgmental information, referrals, peer counseling and advocacy to support callers with the full range of their procedural funding and practical support needs.  </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Coordinate practical support (transportation, overnight housing, childcare, translation, doula support, etc.) and funding in collaboration with the Practical Support Volunteer network.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Communicate and collaborate with clinics, abortion funds, and other procedural or practical support organizations to collaborate regarding caller support needs. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt">Maintain timely, thorough, and accurate case documentation.</span></li> </ul> </li> </ol> <p><span style="color: rgb(86, 23, 63); font-size: 12pt; text-decoration: underline">What We Are Looking For</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt">As ACCESS RJ attempts to practice anti-racist and values-aligned hiring practices, we do not require a college degree or a specific number of years of experience with certain skills. ACCESS RJ currently operates on a staggered 4-Day workweek. All staff work a M-TH or T-F schedule, which will be established upon hire.  All ACCESS RJ employees must be based in California. ACCESS RJ meets twice annually for in-person staff retreats and attendance is required. Other local or national travel opportunities are available pending staff’s interest and availability. This policy, implemented to foster transparency, equity, and non-hierarchical leadership, sets predetermined salaries based solely on job titles and the work expected within each role.
