This is your chance to impact the sales effort at a company quickly accelerating toward billion-dollar success. In your role on our direct to Employer Team, you’ll generate your income through new business development and/or nurturing/farming companies with 5K+ employees. Most importantly, this is a growth role where you will act as a liaison between Teladoc Health and a select group of enterprise clients. Through the Teladoc Health platform, you’ll help our clients reduce costs and improve outcomes for health plan members with chronic and behavioral conditions.

Approximately 80% travel will be required in the beginning as you build relationships and scale down to 50% from there.

Essential Duties

  • Grow Teladoc Health’s relationship with enterprise clients
  • Build strategic relationships within your account base, across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise, including executive-level personnel
  • Expand Teladoc Health’s reach, driving revenue growth, product expansion and market development
  • Increase Teladoc Health market share by prospecting and identifying new opportunities
  • Develop quarterly reports that enable you to use data to construct a powerful story that defines Teladoc Health’s value proposition, for presentation to executive-level clients
  • Develop an operating calendar, detailed account plan/forecast and account planning/mapping process
  • Work closely with internal partners – including product, clinical, data science, implementation, reporting, legal and finance personnel – to deliver on Teladoc Health’s side of the strategic roadmap
  • Maximize, drive and achieve revenue and margin goals while staying within the allocated budget
  • Manage and deliver on issue resolution and customer satisfaction within your account base
  • Demonstrate a broad comprehension of the customer’s needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products and technologies
  • Results oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful team player at ease in a dynamic collaborative environment
  • Able to interact well with internal associates at all levels and across multiple lines of business

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a business-to-business selling environment with Employee Benefits, regulated medical products, technology or healthcare
  • A demonstrated ability to achieve sales quota
  • Skilled delivery of engaging, compelling sales and product presentations, in small and large group settings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including demonstrated comfort and finesse communicating with senior leadership teams
  • Energy and passion for teamwork and collaboration
  • Strong prospecting, cold-calling, lead generation and closing skills
  • The ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
  • A results-oriented approach and take-charge attitude
  • Enthusiasm for business travel
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline

Requirements

  • The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 – $160,000.00
  • In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for commission, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements)
  • We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time. All time off must be approved by your manager prior to use.
  • You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only.

  • Teladoc Health will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
