Hotel Front Office Assistant

About the role

Joining the dynamic team at MODERN SUMMER SDN BHD' as a Hotel Front Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service during their stay. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, Johor, and will involve working shifts to provide 24/7 coverage for our hotel operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and checking in/out guests in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Handling guest inquiries and requests in a timely and courteous fashion
  3. Effectively managing the front desk, including booking reservations, handling payments, and maintaining accurate records
  4. Assisting with other front office duties as needed to contribute to the smooth running of the hotel
What we're looking for
  1. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably within a hotel setting
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
  3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle various guest requests and issues
  4. Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant technologies
  5. A friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  6. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
