Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our hospitality environment. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall guest experience by managing cleaning procedures, supervising staff, and implementing efficient housekeeping practices.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry products, and custodial equipment; place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality service while fostering a positive team environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Address guest concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally to enhance overall guest experience.
Requirements
  • Proven supervising or management experience in housekeeping or custodial services within a hospitality or hotel setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, laundry operations, and janitorial best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Billingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required
  • Experience with hotel housekeeping management systems or related software is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
