<h2>Role Overview</h2> <p>Creating solutions for everything from dining and nutrition to facilities maintenance and rehabilitative services, Sodexo partners with government agencies and military organizations to improve people’s quality of life and make a positive impact.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Sodexo Government</strong> is seeking a <strong>Human Resources Manager </strong>to support a nationwide govenrment Department of Defense business account in a union and non union environment.  Main responsibilities will be to support the employee life cycle, including training, employee relations, recruiting support, and educating managers on policies and procedures.   This is a remote based position, but the ideal candidate will reside near a major airport on the east coast.  The selected candidate must be able to travel to fit the needs of the business.  Must be able to travel 35%</p> <h2>What You'll Do</h2> <ul> <li>onboard frontline hires utilizing onboarding and payroll systems;</li> <li>possess knowledge of state and federal HR laws;</li> <li>maintain active and terminated employee files;</li> <li>coordinate and conduct required monthly training;</li> <li>possess excellent customer service skills for phone conversations and email responses;</li> <li>possess strong time management and organizational skills;</li> <li>understand and respect sensitive and confidential information;</li> <li>have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as needed;</li> <li>complete special projects based on business needs regarding human resources data and analysis; </li> <li>demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands..</li> </ul> <h2>What We Offer</h2> <p>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
