Job Summary

Indigo Airline is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Airport Ground Staff team in Ramp & Terminal Services. As a Ground Staff member, you will be the face of IndiGo, ensuring smooth and safe handling of flight operations, baggage, and passenger services, while upholding our commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in passenger check-in, boarding, and disembarkation procedures.

  • Handle baggage tagging, loading, unloading, and safe transfer of cargo.

  • Coordinate with ramp and apron teams for timely aircraft turnaround.

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and airline regulations.

  • Operate ground service equipment under supervision (after training).

  • Assist elderly, differently-abled passengers, and VIPs as needed.

  • Manage gate operations, including announcements and documentation.

  • Collaborate with security, maintenance, and flight crews for operational efficiency.

  • Maintain professional and courteous behavior with passengers and team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized board.

  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi.

  • Basic computer knowledge is preferred.

  • Physically fit with no visible tattoos/piercings in uniform.

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Neat and well-groomed appearance at all times.

Experience

  • No prior experience required.

  • Freshers are welcome and will receive comprehensive training.

  • Candidates with any internship or part-time experience in aviation/customer service will be given preference.

Working Hours

  • Full-time role with rotational shifts.

  • Work schedule may include early morning, late night, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Shift duration typically ranges from 8 to 10 hours.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced airport environment.
