Job Summary:

IndiGo Airlines is seeking a detail-oriented, compliance-driven, and motivated Regulatory Cabin Services Officer for our Airport Operations & Customer Service (AO&CS) department at Chennai International Airport. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring all cabin-related regulatory protocols and compliance measures are met in line with DGCA, airline standards, and safety procedures. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic airport environment, contributing to the seamless coordination between ground services and in-flight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure complete compliance with DGCA and airline regulatory requirements for cabin services.

  • Conduct audits and inspections of aircraft cabins before and after flights to verify safety and service standards.

  • Collaborate closely with cabin crew, ground staff, and engineering teams for regulatory documentation and reports.

  • Maintain and verify updated records related to safety checks, service equipment, and cabin cleanliness.

  • Supervise and coordinate the turnaround operations related to cabin services.

  • Ensure timely replenishment and accurate inventory of cabin service materials.

  • Handle discrepancies or non-compliance issues with immediate escalation and resolution.

  • Act as a regulatory point of contact for cabin-related compliance during DGCA audits and inspections.

  • Contribute to process improvements and staff training in regulatory protocols and safety practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Aviation, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of DGCA regulations and cabin compliance protocols.

  • Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills.

  • Good command over spoken and written English.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in cabin services, aviation compliance, or airport operations is preferred.

  • Freshers with relevant academic background and internship experience may also apply.

Working Hours:

  • Rotational shifts covering 24x7 airport operations.

  • Weekends and holiday shifts may be required depending on flight schedules.

  • 6-day work week with compensatory off as per airline roster policy.
