About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our thriving law firm, Woon Wee Yuen & Partners', based in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a full-time member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal professionals and contributing to the smooth running of our operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting legal research and analysis to assist lawyers with case preparation
  2. Drafting and proofreading legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and correspondence
  3. Organising and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
  4. Providing administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and managing client enquiries
  5. Collaborating with the legal team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks
  6. Staying up-to-date with changes in legal procedures and regulations
