Job Details We are seeking an experienced LiDAR, Survey CAD, Geomatics, or 3D Modeling professional to support surveying, mapping, and engineering projects. This role is responsible for processing LiDAR and survey data, creating CAD deliverables, developing 3D models, and supporting a variety of land surveying and geospatial projects. Responsibilities + Process terrestrial and aerial LiDAR datasets + Perform point cloud registration, classification, and QA/QC reviews + Create CAD drawings and survey deliverables using AutoCAD and Civil 3D + Extract features from LiDAR, point cloud, and aerial imagery datasets + Develop 2D and 3D models for surveying, mapping, engineering, and BIM projects + Review survey data, field notes, legal descriptions, easements, and project plans + Support UAV/drone mapping and photogrammetry projects + Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project teams throughout project execution Qualifications + 5+ years of experience in LiDAR, surveying, geomatics, CAD drafting, mapping, reality capture, or related fields + Experience with LiDAR processing, point clouds, laser scanning, surveying, CAD drafting, or 3D modeling + Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D + Experience with software such as MicroStation, Leica Cyclone, TopoDOT, Pix4D, Revit, or similar tools is a plus + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Relevant Backgrounds May Include + LiDAR Technician + LiDAR Specialist + Reality Capture Technician + Laser Scanning Technician + Point Cloud Technician + Survey CAD Technician + Survey Technician + Land Survey Technician + Geomatics Technician + Geospatial Technician + Civil CAD Technician + Civil Designer + BIM Technician + BIM Modeler + Photogrammetry Technician Interested in hearing more?
