Job Summary

Amazon Robotics is revolutionizing the way fulfillment centers operate, and we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance & Reliability Technician to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the operational excellence and reliability of our cutting-edge robotic systems. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize robotics equipment to maximize productivity, minimize downtime, and support the safety and efficiency of our fulfillment centers. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Amazon Robotics systems, including mobile robots, conveyor systems, and automated material handling equipment.

  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues to quickly restore equipment to full operational status.

  • Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to implement reliability improvements and process enhancements.

  • Monitor equipment performance metrics and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and compliance documentation.

  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new robotic systems and automation upgrades.

  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and environmental regulations while performing maintenance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, including AC/DC motors, sensors, and PLCs.

  • Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining robotic systems, conveyor systems, or automated equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.

  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools, hand tools, and specialized robotics maintenance software.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering, preferably in robotics, manufacturing, or high-volume distribution environments.
