Summary:

This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with members at a high level. Under the direction of the Director of Clubhouse Operations, the locker room attendant is responsible for professionally and efficiently maintaining the locker room areas and fulfilling needs and requests of members and their guests. They will ensure member satisfaction and provide the highest quality service as expected. Performs all work in accordance with essential functions and responsibilities as described below.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the Men's and Women's locker rooms.
  • Graciously tends to the needs of members and guests and anticipates requests.
  • Creates an environment that facilitates a welcoming, enjoyable club experience.
  • Is knowledgeable of club services, features and events.
  • Keeps aware of par stocks and notifies Locker Room Manager when inventories are low.
  • Organizes and maintains locker room work area.
  • Presents an immaculately groomed and presentable appearance in the appropriate attire.
  • Works in a positive, cooperative, and pleasant manner with members, colleagues, and management.
  • Performs all other tasks and duties as determined necessary by management.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Greet members and guests and assist with their needs.
  • Coordinate with the golf shop, outside services, and food and beverage staffs.
  • Clean, sweep, mop all supported areas.
  • Update locker lists.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of all wet areas.
  • Keep toiletries fully stocked at all times.
  • Maintain upkeep and cleanliness of lockers.
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of golf and country clubs.

Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 15 to 20 pounds.

No supervisory duties are included in this position.

Hours:
  • Applicant must be able to work weekends.
  • Applicant must be able to work as early as 6am and as late as 9pm.
Compensation & Benefits:

This is a part-time position offered at $18 - $20 per hour.
  • Sick pay up to 48 hours a year - accrued based on hours worked
