<p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Description:</b></p>The RCO Manager of Cash Management -Payment Posting is responsible to oversee all facets of patient payments, daily deposits, ERA, and EFT maintenance. This includes ensuring the accurate and timely processing of patient payments, active participation in system integration testing, serving as a subject matter expert for payment posting, actively staying abreast of best practices, and working towards achieving executive goals, optimizing revenue cycle performance, and ensuring the financial stability of the organization.<p><b>Essential Functions</b></p><ul><li>Provides leadership and direction to Payment Posting team, including hiring, training, coaching, performance reviews and terminations.</li><li>Plans, develops, implements, and communicates operational initiatives to improve the efficiency of the Payment Posting team.</li><li>Provides project guidance to successfully implement efficient posting processes.</li><li>Maintains and improves department operations by monitoring system performance, identifying and resolving problems.</li><li>Manages communication and processes between departments involved in the revenue cycle and identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Establishes productivity monitoring for the department staff to maximize resources and results.</li><li>Monitors key performance metrics, addresses issues in a timely manner to improve performance and resolve issues.</li><li>Acts as a technical expert, maintaining current working knowledge of Billing, Payment Posting regulations.</li><li>Ensures department compliance with HIPAA guidelines, HR policies and other corporate initiatives.</li><li>Develops and  documents processes and policies for the department.</li><li>Conducts regularly scheduled meetings to communicate issues regarding compliance with established procedures and overall work unit effectiveness</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills</b></p><ul><li>Leadership</li><li>Analytical</li><li>Collaboration</li><li>Communication</li><li>Decision-Making</li><li>Delegation</li><li>Problem Solving</li><li>Process Improvement</li><li>Team Building</li><li>Time Management</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p><b>Required</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading a successful team within healthcare revenue cycle operations. </li><li>Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of EOB interpretatiion.</li><li>Demonstrates strong knowledge of healthcare billing requirements.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and departments.</li><li>Demonstrates strong knowledge of Microsoft office programs. <span> 2yrs payment posting in Epic experience </span></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Preferred</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, finance, or related field from an accredited institution.  Education is verified.    </li><li>Epic experience.</li><li>Five (5) years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle (Payment Posting, Claims, billing, and Insurance and Follow up)  </li><li>Three (3) years of supervisory experience. </li><li>HFMA Certification </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs. </li><li>Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately. </li><li>Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
